Tungsten Carbide Coating Piston Rod

Younglee Metal Products Co., Ltd. is proud to present our high-performance Tungsten Carbide Coating Piston Rod series, engineered to deliver exceptional wear resistance and durability in the most demanding industrial applications. Our advanced tungsten carbide coating technology provides superior protection against wear, abrasion, and corrosion, significantly extending the service life of hydraulic systems in harsh operating conditions.

Tungsten Carbide Coating Piston Rod Description

Our Tungsten Carbide Coating Piston Rods feature a specially formulated tungsten carbide, cobalt, and chromium (WC-Co-Cr) coating applied using the advanced High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF) thermal spray process. This cutting-edge technology creates a dense, well-bonded coating with exceptional hardness, wear resistance, and toughness that significantly outperforms traditional chrome plating and other conventional coatings.

The HVOF process used to apply our tungsten carbide coatings involves burning fuel with oxygen and hydrogen to produce a hot high-pressure gas stream. A tungsten carbide, cobalt, and chromium powder is injected into this high-velocity gas stream and accelerated toward the piston rod surface. The high energy and hot powder form a near pore-free density level of tungsten carbide on the surface, creating a coating with superior mechanical properties and exceptional resistance to wear and corrosion.
