Ceramic Coated Hydraulic Cylinders
Engineered for offshore, subsea, and extreme environments

Overview
Our ceramic-coated hydraulic cylinders are built to endure high-corrosion environments, offering exceptional protection and wear resistance. Using advanced coating technology, we apply ceramic onto piston rods at supersonic speeds, producing a dense, non-porous surface with strong adhesion and superior hardness.
Why Choose our Ceramic-coated hydraulic cylinder?
- Corrosion resistance up to 2000 hours (ASTM B117 Salt Spray Test)
- Bond strength: ≥ 40 MPa
- Surface hardness: 800-900 HV
- Impact resistant: 7-15 Nm
- Fracture force: ≥ 280 MPa
- Surface roughness: Ra 0.10 – 0.30 μm
- Elastic modulus: 350 – 400 GPa
Applications
- Marine and offshore equipment
- Flood and sludge control gates
- Subsea cylinders
- Cylinders exposed to seawater and corrosive media

Tungsten Carbide Coating | 500 – 1000, >1000 h on request |
Technology Highlight
The coating is applied at supersonic speed, resulting in extremely high bond strength and very low porosity. This process allows a thinner coating thickness (0.25 – 0.30 mm) while achieving superior performance over traditional 2–3 mm thermal arc spray coatings, which tend to crack and peel.
