Ceramic Coated Hydraulic Cylinders

Ceramic Coated Hydraulic Cylinders

Engineered for offshore, subsea, and extreme environments

Ceramic coated hydraulic cylinder of hydraulic hoist for Water Conservancy &Hydropower

Overview

Our ceramic-coated hydraulic cylinders are built to endure high-corrosion environments, offering exceptional protection and wear resistance. Using advanced coating technology, we apply ceramic onto piston rods at supersonic speeds, producing a dense, non-porous surface with strong adhesion and superior hardness.

Why Choose our Ceramic-coated hydraulic cylinder?

  • Corrosion resistance up to 2000 hours (ASTM B117 Salt Spray Test)
  • Bond strength: ≥ 40 MPa
  • Surface hardness: 800-900 HV
  • Impact resistant: 7-15 Nm
  • Fracture force: ≥ 280 MPa
  • Surface roughness: Ra 0.10 – 0.30 μm
  • Elastic modulus: 350 – 400 GPa

Applications

  • Marine and offshore equipment
  • Flood and sludge control gates
  • Subsea cylinders
  • Cylinders exposed to seawater and corrosive media

Technology Highlight

The coating is applied at supersonic speed, resulting in extremely high bond strength and very low porosity. This process allows a thinner coating thickness (0.25 – 0.30 mm) while achieving superior performance over traditional 2–3 mm thermal arc spray coatings, which tend to crack and peel.
