How Do DIN 1596 and DIN 1597 Differ?<\/h2>\n

DIN 1596 is the light single-ended<\/strong> clip, while DIN 1597 is the light double-ended<\/strong> clip. These terms describe the mounting tabs and attachment points, not the number of pipes held. The single-ended form suits an approved one-side fastening layout; the double-ended form distributes attachment through two mounting ends and requires a different footprint.<\/p>\n

Why Does the Light-Series Design Matter?<\/h2>\n

\u201cLight\u201d is a dimensional series, not a statement that the clamp is suitable for any load below an undefined threshold. Current supplier data show that the light and heavy forms can use different strip widths, strip thicknesses and mounting-hole diameters at the same clamp diameter. For example, one published 13.0 mm single-ended set uses a 20 \u00d7 2 mm strip and a 6.6 mm mounting hole for DIN 1596, compared with 25 \u00d7 3 mm and 11.0 mm for the related DIN 1592 row.
