AS many people may know there are two typical types of tubes to constructing heat exchangers, which are seamless stainless steel tubes<\/u><\/a>\u00a0(including duplex stainless steel tubes S31083, 2205, S32750, 904L, etc) and brass tubes. But what are the advantages and disadvantages of this two different heat exchangers?<\/p>\n

In fact, the biggest difference is not the heat transfer performance, corrosion resistance is good or bad, but is that copper tubes are less prone to fouling than stainless steel tubes, which many\u00a0people might do not realize. To give a simple example, some\u00a0commercial boilers are used without water treatment equipment, but using life is as long as 15 years. The reason is that\u00a0although the water can foul scale\u00a0in the copper wall, but it is only flocculent fouling, in this case, as long as we increase the flow of water, fouling scale can not precipitate down.<\/p>\n

Second, is the heat transfer performance.
